Guatemalan Chilli Bean Sauce is inspired by the tradition of the 'recado', which is a thick, chunky paste. They include mixtures of spices, chillies, onion and citrus juice to marinate and give flavour to the meat. This cooking sauce also contains beans which are a basic ingredient widely used in Guatemalan cuisine. Serve with any Rice from our Latin American Kitchen range. Store in a cool, dry place.
